Wellington is a village simply west of West Palm Beach in main Palm Beach County as well as 66 mi (106 kilometers) north of Miami. Since 2019, the city had a population of 65,398 according to U.S.
Demographics Bureau estimates, making it the most populated village in the state. It is the fifth biggest district in Palm Beach County by population. Wellington is part of the Miami Metropolitan. Wellington was called among Money Magazine’s “Top 100” Best Places to Live in both 2019 and 2010. Although Wellington is not a village under any basic definition of the term village in the United States, it is referred to formally as the “Village of Wellington”. The location is also home to The Mall at Wellington.
